i am leah, the founder of summer soul kitchen which grew out of my love for gathering people around the table and combining the things i love most:
food and connection.
cooking has always been my love language – a way to nurture, to create and to connect. i find joy in working with fresh, seasonal produce and colourful ingredients that bring meals to life. for me, food is more than just nourishment; it’s an invitation to slow down, savour the moment, and share something meaningful with others.
for me, cooking has never been just about recipes or techniques. it’s about the smell of fresh herbs on the cutting board, the colours of vegetables spread across the kitchen bench, and the magic of turning simple, seasonal ingredients into something that nourishes both body and soul. i’ve always believed that the meals we prepare carry with them more than flavour — they hold care, comfort, and a sense of belonging.
